VWN has opted for substitute materials like polyurethane (for the steering wheel rim) and recyclates (for the seat covers, floor coverings, and headliner). Recyclates, which are materials made from recycled products, in this case, include SEAQUAL yarn, whose thread comprises approximately 10% marine plastic and about 90% recycled PET bottles. Another example of eco-friendly material in the electric microbes is ArtVelours ECO upholstery, in which the share of recyclates is 71%.
